Hello all. I made a mistake and have run afoul of the law. It does not involve drugs or alcohol, no one was hurt, and nothing was stolen or damaged. Nevertheless, I am being prosecuted in an overzealous manner and if convicted I could lose my job and effectively end my career. Prison or jail time is unlikely, but my lawyer does not seem overly optimistic about the possible outcome. This has been going on since March and has been like an anvil tied around my neck. I'm already financially strained, my wife is pregnant with our 3rd child, and I am in a very dark place mentally and spiritually. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
