42-10- Dookies put up plenty of yards between the twenties but bog down in red zone. Also, at least 2 (maybe 3 picks for their QB)

Ingram and Trent split the carries evenly.

Hoping for about 60 - 3.

I don't want to let up at all. Especially after the reserves come in late in the second quarter. Keep pushing til the final whistle. All for making the Tide play in that wannabe high school stadium (I don't care whose name is on it) rather than playing in either Charlotte or Atlanta. I cannot imagine that we would have given Duke a straight up home and home with the belief that our return game would be played in Durham.

Seriously though, I just want to look good and come out with no injuries.

I hope you are right but honestly I see us giving up at least one touchdown late in this game as the reserves get some playing time and exposure. With that in mind I say...
Bama 41
Duke 15
Give up a late T.D. ......OK...That, I don't have a huge problem with,...but..

15 - 7 = 8 .......so two field goals and a... safety...

It's not the field goals I have a problem with....It's the safety.....

ROLL TIDE !! :BigA:

OK...it's time
It appears either
a) Duke has no defense (27 pts to Elon?) or
b) DC has been hiding it to surprise us
I'm going with a)
Offensively, they can score...but can they score on Bama's d? I'm thinking, with Dareus back (and hopefully a chip on his shoulder), they have some success moving the ball, but finding the endzone is like clicking on one of the links on goduke.com: it doesn't work.

While it’s true that Duke does not have much of a defense they do have a pass happy offense that can be accurate at times. With our secondary still getting caught out of position occasionally I expect they will score some points.
I’ll go Bama 48 - Duke 10.

Alabama 48, Duke 10.

If Wake Forest put up 54 on 'em, I reckon we should have some nice offensive stats at the end of the day.

I think we'll run the ball a lot to keep it out of their hands and control the clock, much as we'll try to do against Arkansas the next week.

I'd probably say 45-3. If we get ahead early and know they have to throw nearly every down it could get ugly.

Not a knock on anybody here, but if our defense gives up 20+ points to Duke then I am really worried about the upcoming games (Arkansas, Florida, South Carolina).
