History buff time...

Next to the 1958 NFL Championship (Appropriately enough, a game that featured another team from New York against Baltimore), the Jets/Colts Super Bowl III game has to be considered one of the most important games ever played. If the Colts had manhandled the Jets like the odds-makers though, the NFL-AFL merger would have lost a lot of impact. This is the game that finally got the old guard in the NFL to realize... hey... the AFL can play football just as well as we can.
