Prothro showed up for practice.

  • Hi Guest, we are working on updating the site servers and software. We're also 'forcing' everyone to read and agree to our site privacy policy and terms of service. There are no significant changes to either of these but the terms page does clarify a few things that are mostly in the legalese. You can just click the checkbox for both and continue using the site as usual! We'll update you more on the site upgrades VERY soon! THANK YOU AS ALWAYS for supporting the site and being an active participant!

Meanwhile, Tyrone Prothro returned to the field Tuesday, but not as a receiver. The senior was playing quarterback in some of the pass-catching drills for the other receivers.

“He’s got a pretty good arm," coach Mike Shula said.

“It’s good just to have him out here. He’s still got some rehab to do, but it gives a chance to get him ready faster. It helps everybody. We like having him out here around the players."

Prothro, who is still recovering from a broken leg sustained against Florida last Oct. 1, sported a boot on his leg, but was moving around without crutches.

Prothro has learned well to say the least. He may have trained under the best. Working to prepare the team and himself to get the best out of THIS season. The respect and dedication of AC Carter was not lost on Prothro. You want to show someone the pride of crimson? Point two these two.
