He is looking better tonight. So far we are midway through the 2nd and Alec is 7-11 for 139 yards, 4 TD's and 1 Int.

And that is the game. Last week was a tough one with Plano East, tonight was Plano West. Alec went 16-23 for 219 yards, 4 TD's and 1 Int which I think is his first of the year. He also had 7 rushes for 61 yards, one of which was an 18 yard run for a TD. Allen 40 Plano West 28

Allen again played a way to close game against FM Marcus, final was Allen 38 Marcus 35. Alec Morris was 17-30 for 341 yards, 4 TD's and he threw 1 interception. He also ran 14 times for 84 yards and 1 TD.

So tonight showed something for us. Allen was down 35-31 with 1:40 on the clock. Allen gets the ball on the 37 yard line and goes 63 yards for the score with :08 left on the clock. Alec ran for 10 yards and had pass completions of 19, 17, and a game winner for 16 yards on a beautiful crossing route during the drive. Good poise and never panicked, just nice and methodical.

Great stats. Just adds to the great year he's putting together. He really does seem to have the complete package in his position. Hopefully he'll be able to adjust to the speed in college b/c he does have a good chance to be pretty good

This guy seems to be a pretty good QB that has good mechanics. It doesn't hurt that he seems to handle pressure pretty well also.

But in typical fashion, Allen rallied in the final frame, scoring on all three of its fourth-quarter possessions en route to a 30-17 Class 5A Division I bi-district win Saturday at Cowboys Stadium.

Allen (11-0) advances to face Trinity (11-0) at 2 p.m. next Saturday at Cowboys Stadium.

"We knew there was one team that was going to stop us and that was ourselves," said Allen quarterback Alec Morris. "We were making mental mistakes from the get-go. In the fourth quarter, we got drives together and we knew how to finish it. We got it done."
