Question about Bruce Pearl's suspension

I do not feel like having to actually look at UT boards to find this answer so here goes. Bruce Pearl is suspended for the first 8 conference games. What about their game with UConn this weekend? Does he come off the suspension for one game? Does he sit and it counts in the suspension or does he sit and it does not count? Would Slive suspend a coach when his conference has a marquee game against the power conference of college basketball?

His suspension will not be in effect and he will be coaching at UConn.
