Great news! I thought it a must for this class to contain an elite RB with the potential to carry the offense and meet the precedents set by Mark Ingram, Trent Richardson and others. Yeldon has the potential to be that RB. Great pick up, good times y'all, good times.

By position, in my opinion, this class's best position is LB obviously. Gonna be hard to top that. But with Yeldon joining Drake and Taylor if he can recover fully from that injury is a close second.

I just took a peek over at the Auburn Scout fan board and they are definitely getting ready to go into full meltdown! Main emphasis is on how the dead period is only a few hours away and Auburn won't be able to contact him again before he enrolls at Alabama. Even worse, Auburn won't be able to contact any other potential RB replacement in the class either during the dead period.

dont think rules will stop auburn coaches from doing whatever they want with recruits.

You have to give our staff a ton of credit. Bama had a lot of things working against them with Yeldon, but our coaches worked their butts off and were able to change his mind. :BigA:

Anger and Blaming of Others
The rumor of a $200K payoff that started leaking within the last week appears to have legs. This kid has stung AU along with his word repeatedly. I have followed recruiting very close since 1986 and this is the most disapointed I've ever been with a kid, his family and the blantant smell coming out of .......

I dont think we ever had Yeldon. He played Auburn like a fiddle, now he decommits a few hours before the dead period. Our coaches can't even talk to him again until after he's enrolled at bama. We cant even talk to another RB recruit until January. What a piece of crap. Hopefully he'll get processed soon.
