Re: Robert Nkemdiche falls from 4th story window?

Smoke enough spice and you'll become a walking DSM-V reference manual. Psychotic events, anxiety, paranoia, hallucinations, etc.. Luckily he wasn't on the 20th floor and decide to take flight.

The Nkemdiche brothers (and their family) have some serious problems.

Wow I really wanted this guy at Bama but now I'm kind of glad he went to OM. I'm hope he's OK and only has cuts.

I'm glad he is physically okay, but if this wasn't potentially so life-changing, it would be a great candidate for a spot on "C'mon, man!"

I did some stupid stuff in college too. But I didn't have the potential of a football career in front of me. If it's his mental state then yeah I hope he gets well. If he's being an idiot then yeah it's funny. Busting out a hotel window tends to lead me to believe the the latter was the case.

He probably did some serious damage to his draft stock with this incident and he's lucky that is all that was seriously damaged.

IDK. Mental health is no joke. Smoking pot is one thing, but spice isn't something to mess around with.

Re: Robert Nkemdiche falls from 4th story window?

His name is now "Bob" instead of Robert
I laughed a lil bit to hard at that if I got where you were going with this..They will have to call him Bob if he landed flat footed..

I really really hope he's ok & it was some freaky accident..But..When drugs come into play he wasting the best opportunity of his life, he was a freaking brut when we played Ole Miss, he was unstoppable at times & gave our O-Line hell all game long..If it was spice related that was some bad weed or whatever you wanna call it, never tried it myself, but, I was around some old friends that did & they scared the crap outta me when they started smoking it..Saying they were having heart-attacks, didn't know where they were or who they were, this one gal started sweating like she was running from the cops after robbing a bank on a Alabama August Day..

I wasn't going to leave them in case one of them went freaking nuts or stopped breathing, I wanted to run, cause I was the only that didn't smoke any of it & I would have been the only alive if they had all died..Not a good situation to be in & scared me in all honesty..When the cops got there I didn't lie to them & told them they were smoking spice which they knew as soon as they looked at them..Bad stuff for sure..

I have never heard of "spice" as it relates to the drug trade. Pardon my ignorance; maybe I need to get out more.

It's synthetic marijuana. Doesn't show up in drug screens, so it appeals to people who might be subjected to drug screens.

Re: Robert Nkemdiche falls from 4th story window?

ED nurse is a friend of mine. She says you fall off a six foot ladder depending on how old or in shape you are and what you land on, you might break something but you probably walk or limp away. At one story ~10 feet, you might walk, but more than likely hurt yourself. Two stories you are definitely injured, might die, might wish you were dead. Three stories, odds are not good. Above three stories mostly just went straight to the morgue. Kid was lucky. And stupid.

A few years ago (I was probably in my late 30's), I was hanging Christmas lights, standing near the top of a standard 6' A-frame ladder in one of our flower beds. One leg suddenly sank and I fell on my back/side, landing directly on the back (the vertical part) of a decorative iron bench we had in the bed. The iron bench broke, but I didn't. I can only imagine what sort of trauma a healthy, muscular young man in his early 20's can withstand.

For the record, I was sore but didn't even crack a rib, apparently - and I was about twice the age of Nkemdiche.

Re: Robert Nkemdiche falls from 4th story window?

I'm sorry, but this kid seems to be a walking disaster. Someone needs to get him some help soon, or he'll end up another cautionary tale for young athletes.
