I talked to Ronnie's dad Friday night at the John Carroll/Pell City game. I asked him how Ron was doing and he said, as of right now, he is practicing as the starter. He added that all that could change but..so far so good. He said that Ron had taken some Summer classes and made A's and B's, so his schoolwork is in order.
I have followed his career for some time now and I am ecstatic about the opportunity and challenges that lie ahead.(geez, I sound like Dubose). I can only imagine how sweet it must feel to bring the ball up and see KW and CD down low, and ES to my left, and from what I have read, JD in the middle?
I asked Mr. Steele about Glenn Miles, from West End, and he was unsure of his status at this time, but he felt he was having a little harder time making the adjustment, which is understandable. Let's tip it! I cannot wait

we do need scoring. if he doesnt score all other teams will do is doulble team someone and he will be forced to score. if its 4 on 5 most of the time 4 will lose unless its a team like duke maybe. so id say he does need to score. teams will start double teaming chuck soon and if the rest of the bunch cant score then youre in trouble.

As I stated in my post above, he shouldn't have to score ALOT(as in 20 points a game). He shouldn't have to be pressured to put up a bunch of points like Mo had to do.

I have an idea as to what you're insinuating, and if so, I WOULD find it almost impossible to believe that Steele would be involved in anything like that. Have never heard anything even close to negative about him as a person.

there will be some games where he'll have to score 20 points. im not saying every night. but if he doesnt average atleast 10 pts a game we might be hurting inside. its proven and it will happen if steele cant shoot the ball(which i think he will). im not trying to dog the team im just saying this is what he needs to do for us the win consistently. and to the rumor that steele is involved in some break ins thats CRAP. if you dont have any links or proof please quit trying to spread CRAP on the boards.

D***, some of y'all put up some stupid post!! I stay away from here these days for that, and the minute I get back.....

I was hoping to read some nice things on Steele(mostly good), but that alleged car thing is too much.

BTW, we will have the top rated gaurd(JUCO) in the country next season. Ravone George is a good basketball player that can do anything you want in a gaurd.
