what’s your thoughts on the chances of sears and Nelson coming back?If Sears comes back, it frees him up to play the 2 in most of our sets. Next years team may be a LOT of fun

I hope they do!what’s your thoughts on the chances of sears and Nelson coming back?
If we get a real center, Nelson can play the 3/4 which is more his skillset, and what he would play at the next level, rather than the 4/5 he was forced to play this year. Perhaps us getting a center is in his decision making on whether to stay or go.If Sears comes back, it frees him up to play the 2 in most of our sets. Next years team may be a LOT of fun

I remember thinking, when I first read this quote, that Grant seemed to be hinting at the possibility of his agent shopping him around, if he did not go through the draft process.“If I do come back to college, I’m hoping it’s Alabama. I’m definitely going to talk to my agent, talk to the coaches, see what’s best for me. Hopefully I can enter the draft process and get drafted this year. But if all else fails, hopefully it’s Alabama coming back.”
Who is Trelly? That’s a lot of guards: three transfers already on the hook; Sears and Trelly still in play, and more visits scheduled.
I think as soon as we sign a big, Wague is going.
Really surprised it hasn't happened. Maybe only because bigs don't grow on trees like guards.I think as soon as we sign a big, Wague is going.
never thought I would see the day where we had a barner and possibly a vile. strange days indeed
Agreed. I'm not sure Aidoo is the guy we want, unless we know the Rutgers kid is going to Carolina or somewhere else. Aidoo plays really passively at times and looked positively shell-shocked against Purdue. Not a great shooter, but at least he can face the basket from time to time.We need a big man that can defend, rebound and protect the rim. We have enough guards.
Yep. I'm hoping the interest in the VT guy was just pre-Holloway, and now we aren't still looking. I noticed the news about him visiting was about an hour before the commitment, so that's entirely possible. If we're still looking at point guards, then that tells me we aren't expecting Sears back.We need a big man that can defend, rebound and protect the rim. We have enough guards.
If there is another spot, we probably need to find a 3. Youngblood is listed as a 3, but he's a tad shortI think as soon as we sign a big, Wague is going.
(2) of the incoming freshmen are 3's. Both are top 50 players on the 247 site.If there is another spot, we probably need to find a 3. Youngblood is listed as a 3, but he's a tad short
