The Bucs have never been the same since the old man Malcom had his stroke and turned the team over to his three idiot sons. The Bucs are a cash cow to keep Man U funded and they have no interest in building a winning football team in Tampa. Raheem Morris was a cheap fill in until they could get Gruden's salary off of the books and now this Schiano things scares me. Rutgers hasn't played a game in almost 2 months so this hire was a knee jerk reaction because they couldn't find anyone else that was willing to come coach this team with the tools that they would be given to work with. Being from Tampa and a fan of the team since the very beginning it pains me to see this team disintegrating the wait has. The Glazer boys have actually made me feel bad about all the crap I dished out about Hugh Culverhouse and the only thing he had going for him was he was a Bama Grad.

It seems I'm the only one, but I think Schiano has the chance to do well. The guy has made Rutgers a consistent winner and seems to big on fundamentals. He has done what no one has done at Rutgers. Ever. OTOH, I'm not a Bucs fan, so if I'm wrong, it won't hurt me either way! ;)

You know it's bad when Bucs fans are looking back fondly at the days of Culverhouse as the owner.

Schiano brought structure and discipline to a program that sorely lacked both on every level.
This is exactly what the team needs but I'm not sure this guy's going to have the gravitas to instill it. It can't really get any worse, can it?

I just hope that they do the right thing and grab Trent, and, perhaps if we're lucky, Dont'a will be there in the second. The Bucs need a presence on defense that can actually tackle.

I would rather them grab Upshaw with the #5, than TR. Mark didn't go that high and the NFL doesn't take RBs that early nowadays. They will probably pick some PAC-10 defensive player at #5 and show their stupidity again.

1 in 10 he succeeds. This is a coach killer position and I am dumfounded.

Sciano just pulled the Gary Darnell move that I was hoping he wouldn't make. At least he'll make enough money to retire.
