Could anyone who attended this weekend's scrimmages give any insight as to who looked good or maybe who disappointed? Thanks, and as always, RTR!!!

Hitting looked alot better. Pennington is hitting very well. As far as pitching, Ponder and Woodward seemed to shine today. My worry is defense. We booted alot of plays that should have been made. That will hopefully work itself out as players get more comfortable.

As 38 mentioned, Pennington was all over the left field line. I saw him hit two doubles. Brando Avalos really swings the bat well. I saw him get a couple of hits.
Allen Rice is swinging the bat very well. He seems a lot more confident at the plate. Remember he was a freshman last year and really grew from game to game. This could be a break out year for him.

DT, You know how I feel about Rice. Allen is going to be the difference in many games this year. He will be fun to watch.

Allen has a great glove, and if his bat heats up, look out. I remember him getting a few clutch hits last year. I also seem to remember him being able to lay down a bunt really well....RTR
