I think this team has 20+ win season, goes to Ncaa, and is sweet sixteen team. I think Bama is good this year. Am excited about the team and season. Roll Tide.

I hope you're right! I think we can, but we have to have 2 things happen to do that, 1) have to stay healthy (especially the big men) and 2) have to knock down the 3 consistently this year!!

Agree with the OP. Think 22+ wins likely. We need our 2- 7 footers to rebound and be reasonable productive scoring and we'll be pretty good. I will be there for the game tomorrow.

Can't see it unless our shooting has been bestowed several miracles in the off-season...

I'll be at the Oregon St game in NYC next week and look forward to seeing the team.

I see 20+ wins too. Whether 'Bama is a sweet 16 team will depend on the matchups. We have some tough road games. That SEC opener at Missouri will be very tough. Agree with all the posters. The 3 pt. shooting must improve , have no injuries (or suspensions), and the two 7 footers will need to play defense and rebound. I think it would be hugh if they could chip in 6 to 8 points a night.

Consensus is we need 3 things not to happen that happen every year...not real good odds. Poor 3-point shooting; injuries; suspensions.

"So you're saying there's a chance"

I have to remind myself that so much of the team's performance last year relied on freshmen who played really well for the most part and will likely show significant improvement with a year under their belt. I'll go with the OP's prediction.

I think we get a 20 win season, but think we finish behind UK and Mizzou in the conference. Not bad though for a young team.

I am hoping that the team looked bad because Andrew and Carl were out and it was a big experiment with the lineup. Otherwise it was painful to watch. Good news is the points were pretty spread out at the end between players. Still do not have the 3 ball except Lacy when hot. But hopefully we will come to play Friday and that will be a good indicator on how many wins we get this year.

I actually think the addition of Missouri will create an extra ncaa tourney spot for everyone. Last year we were considered a 4 bid team. Kent, Fl, Vandy, and the best of the rest. now with Missouri that creates another high RPI team. and with teams like bama and ark who should be improving that helps. making the NCAA tourney is more about manipulating numbers. an extra high rpi team and as long as our bad teams as not horrible, i think we can become a 6 bid conference.
