Hard to believe that the pirate is gone. He was a quite a guy. I had read somewhere that he had planned on announcing his retirement after the bowl game last season due to health reasons. He was sicker than anyone knew. RIP Pirate

I hate it for state because he was a good fit for them. He increased their win total every year he was there.
