Ritter has done a pretty good job with our games this year. Didn't he do the Clemson game? Maybe that bodes well Ritter and the Tide in the Dome.:biggrin:

I wouldn't mind it if the SEC brought in a neutral crew from another conference for this game. I don't mean that as a slap in the face to the current SEC crews. This is a conference where most people associated with it, even officials that didn't attend the participating institutions, have FIERCE loyalties to specific teams (even once or twice removed).

I just want to insure that the game is officiated objectively. What is the best way to accomplish that?

I assume that's the guy with the mile wide mouth. Thank the good lord he and his crew aren't there. They don't know how to keep it in their pants and let the teams play.

Hopefully, SEC officials are treated like their NFL counterparts and graded continually during the year to be rewarded accordingly for the post season.

Thanks for the info. This is certainly in the "it could've been a LOT worse" category. We could've gotten the Three Blind Mice Crew who did LSU, the Keystone Kops crew from Ole Miss, or the bunch who need to drink "light" beer, but apparently hate the taste....

Wagers is the best official in his crew and he shouldn't be allowed to do single A high school ball.
