This might get moved (I hope not) but since it is a slow day and recruiting is essentially over I thought I would ask this:

What song pumps you up (gets that adrenaline flowing) everytime you hear it. Obviously "Yea Alabama!" is mandatory but what other song makes you wish you could get on the field an unload on a RB or QB from another team.

Mine will always be The Theme from the first Rocky: "Gonna Fly Now."

Looks like a good football topic to me. ;)

We could do favorite beer instead of song.
Like.....what beer do you drink that makes you want to out on the field and lay a hit on a QB or RB?
Better yet, as with some fans, what beer is it that makes you just want to run on the field in general?

Or we could just combine the two questions; what song do you listen to while you drink beer before a football game?

That sounds like a better topic for the Grillin' & Chillin' forum. ;)

What beer makes me want to do this?

It's usually the 12th or 13th beer that makes me want to run out on the field and hit the QB.

:eek2:

And as far as songs go, what about "Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'" by Limp Bizkit?

How may besides me no matter...........

where you are or what you're doing get big o' GOOSE bumps everytime you hear Yea Alabama? I know everbody has heard the phrase "You might be a Redneck if". Well, You get big o' goose bumps would make a good "You might be a Bama fan if" phrase. Oh and as for what other song pumps me up....Everywhere we go, people wanna kno...who we are, so we tell them....We are the Titans, mighty-mighty Titans  Seriously now, Yea Alabama is the ONE & ONLY for me !!!!!

Hmmm....good question.

I don't care how cheesy some might think it is...the Rocky theme is awesome.

Others:

P.O.D. - Boom
Godsmack - Sick of Life
A Perfect Circle - The Outsider
311 - Creatures

That's all I can think of right now. Listening to those after having a few, I am usually ready to hurt somebody.

High school football movie about 10 years ago. Varsity Blues, maybe?

Anyway, it's a Foo Fighters song....can't think of the name of it.

"Lovin evey minute of it" by loverboy from 1985

This song came out the summer of '85 which happen to be right before my senior year and our football team adopted it as our theme song. Oh the memories.............

we will rock you by Queen

or... the second part of that medley: "We Are The Champions"

These two songs came out in 1977, just in time for our back-to-back national championships (note to Aubs: these were REAL NC's)

What on earth does that song have to do with sports, Fulmer? I was in HS about the same time as you...where on earth did you guys get this song over others as a theme song???

Others? What others? It was the most popular song at the time and it just kind of stuck. I didn't know we were going to be graded on this. Sorry!

The ladies HS hoops team I help coach runs out @ our home games to "Set It Off" by P.O.D. And let me tell you, that one fires me up!
For reasons forgotten, we always fired up Marshall Tucker's "Can't You See?" before home games @ our crib when I was a student @ the Capstone. A strange one is "Hell's Bells" by AC/DC. A rival school played that when their jv football team took the field...pretty cool, I must say.
exiled, jr. fires up several before his HS football games: "Smooth Criminal" by Alien Ant Farm + various Zao songs + Lateralus by Tool.

My list:

"Enter Sandman" by Metallica - The basketball team used to come out to this, and it was awesome.

"Machinehead" by Bush - I was a HUGE Birmingham Bulls fan before they left for New Jersey. They also took the ice for warm-ups to this song.

"Ironman" by Black Sabbath - It was the entrance music for the Road Warriors(Wrestling tag-team), and it set the stage for what was about to come. It still sends chill bumps.

"Sirius" - I forgot who did this one. Anyways, it's the song that the Chicago Bulls would come out to... awesome instrumental bit right here.

"Live Wire", "Wildside", and "Kickstart my Heart" by Motley Crue - These should all be mandatory at sporting events.

The theme from 2001 - I know other teams use it, but it still gets me pumped. I'm a huge wrestling fan, and I can't resist doing the Ric Flair WHOO every time I hear it.

"Rough Ryders Anthem" by DMX - My high school's basketball team would come out to this...albeit the clean version. Anyways, it got the crowd going nuts. That's the way PV rolls!

The instrumental song used for the Crimson Tradition football video - it was used for the trailers for "The Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers". I get goose bumps every time I hear it.

Finally, even though I know I'm leaving some off...

The theme from Rocky... I want to climb me some stadium steps and go about 15 rounds every time I hear that one.
