Dig that but one thing is for sure...after a starter is named in the Fall then Mack will probably be the backup with the other two in the portal. Too much money and teams needing QBs out there for all these studs to remain on the roster in this day and age.
I think Lonergan is probably gone. We'll see about Ty/Milroe

I think Ty will stay if he's QB2. Then he'll be ready to take the reins in 2025 (if not during the 2024 season)
It is difficult to put a probability on Ty staying as number two. To me it depends on his NIL situation and the potential of a significant amount of playing time. If he is destined to primarily stand on the sideline then share a few snaps with Mack over the entire season then the following year compete with Mack, a player his head coach has recruited twice. It becomes dufficult to see a logical reason for him to stay.

It just appears to me to be a serious waste of an outstanding talent for him to reside another year on the bench. He would be much better utilized in a mid major building his NFL value than standing on the sidelines at Alabama. There may well be a much better opportunity for him than taking a step down. Difficult to know!

Exactly. There are many who have already made up their minds and it does not matter what they see or hear they are not going to change their mind.
What's I've seen is why I have the opinion I do. When I see something that can change that opinion, I'll more than gladly say so. The short little videos we've seen here of certain things at practice have given me no evidence to change my current opinion.

Its not a matter of "having one's mind made up." That's ridiculous. Some have made up their minds, having the exact opposite opinion, despite evidence to the contrary.

That's the beauty of a message board. That's the beauty of opinions. That's the beauty of perception and facts.

Of course it is the beauty of a message board and you can give your opinion and taking a couple of short videos from spring practice to make your opinion stronger is ridiculous IMO. I'm sure somebody could find some short clips of Ty throwing a bad pass or JM throwing dimes on others. Opinions are always based on what side of the argument you are on and many can't see the other side of it, hence, having one's mind made up.

Right, thank you

Maybe, but Mack is going to be hard to hold off. I want them all to stay but every one of these guys are just too talented.

Can’t see any way at least one doesn’t leave. I think A-Day will show who that will be.
My money’s on DL, but we’ll see; I will be surprised if two leave. Love to see them all stay; I’d also love to win the lottery. Similar odds, to me.

I think Mack is still only 17. I don't see him being anything but a developmental guy this year. But it sounds like he has a really promising future
Not sure age is a big deal. Dude has the tools and more experience in this offense. Ty may be the backup this season but give Mack another year and he could overtake Simpson by the Fall of next season. Mute point if Ty is like Mac Jones, which could very well be the case, but 10 already looks the part in the limited film I've seen of him. Can't wait to A-Day when we can see them all work in live fire.

Is anyone on this site at the scrimmage? I heard Jaden Roberts was injured but I don’t know how bad. I sure hope he will be okay. He’s a great, hard working player .

Deboer will say in a minute.

But sounds like he was on crutches during practice. I assume it may be a sprain, but early indications are that its not serious.

Sounds like qbs looked good today no turnovers from them. Im hearing jam Miller, qua russaw, keon Keeley and pierre are all standing out and may all be about to blow up this season.
