So you're telling me they compared a TEAM ACCOMPLISHMENT with an INDIVIDUAL ONE?

Bear in mind that missing both his ace receivers, Bryce passed for 145 more yards in the game Bennett won, which isn't a small amount. Yeah, he had more picks but not because he was stupid.

Alabama had more first downs, more yards, and fewer penalties/yards and held the ball longer. The key stat to the entire game was turnovers - and injuries. (And the Colt McCoy comparison only applies if you can show me Texas played Alabama twice that year and Colt won one of them).
