Man, that sounds dangerous for Wrightsell.

As an aside, it's a wonder we don't see more head injuries in basketball. They jump higher, run faster and there's more contact at the rim now than ever. Sometimes guys hit the floor very, very hard.

I don't think I've heard the announcers say this, but I assume Griffen's stitches are related to this.

If it’s really Wrightsell’s 4th concussion he should considered being done with bball. With that said I hope we see him soon if cleared medically and if long term safety is not in jeopardy.

When I first noticed the bandage on Griffin, I was wondering if it had anything to do with the Wrightsell injury.

My understanding is that these were 2 separate injuries from a reliable source. No details were given for either injury.
