Tennessee vs Bama...It's Game Day!!

Looked forward to this one for a while now guys. I visit here all the time and I work with several Tide fans. We are always talking Tennessee and Alabama football, always giving each other a hard time at work.

This is the one game I would love to pull the upset, yes, even more than against Florida. This is mainly due to the Bama fans I work with and it would make my days easier.

That said, I truly think Bama wins the game...along with the overwhelming majority of people. I think only a fool would really predict a UT victory today. Afterall you guys are #2 in the country and undefeated. We are a 3-3 team that has been VERY inconsistent on offense. I think the UT defense should be able to hold Bama to a respectably low number on the score board, possibly 25 or less. I am not sure the UT offense can score enough to beat a number like that, especially against the defense you guys put on the field.

Guys I am looking forward to watching what is one of the greatest rivalries in college football this afternoon. I know the outcome probably won't be what I want it to be. I will guarantee you one thing, outside of a family emergency, I will sit and watch every single snap of this ball game regardless of score.

I say Bama wins 20-10...but my cautiously optimistic score would be TN 17-10

I have a bad feeling about this game. We are leaving for the game just here in a minute (6am) and I already have butterflies in my stomach.
We have got to take them out of the game early. Tennessee is a good team and can beat you if you allow them to stick around till the 4th quarter.

Good post volfan! This is a BIG ONE for me as well, living in east tn. it can get down right ugly sometimes. I would gladly take that 20 - 10 score, but I hope we hang 50 on ya!

I'm about to get into some necessary gameday prep. I live in west Tennessee, and, like wise, hope that we stretch this one out. I'm hoping for a shutout.

I know it's orange kool-aid talking but I think we could pull this out with a late field goal. I'ts all about the quarterback position on both sides. Good play on your side we lose. Poor quarterback play from Bama and great quarterback play from the Vols (not likely)we have a chance. Here's hoping for a classic Tenn vs Bama game. Good luck. (not to much though)

Personally I hope we make Coach Iffin wonder if he made a mistake coming to the SEC. Somebody must pay for the sins the UT program has committed against Alabama. And since he's in the seat, he has to be that guy.

Not that I expect that kind of beatdown.

This is the first game since the opener that I have been optimistically nervous waiting for the game to kickoff. I feel like BAMA will "Finish" this stretch run into the BYE with a solid victory. We can lay it all on the line against a hated rival knowing a BYE is waiting for us. BAMA with an impressive 27 - 13 victory. ROLL TIDE!!!:BigA:
