I think they're both excellent coaches. Clemson now begins the musical chairs process much like we did. I think they'll live to regret this decision.

I'll have to disagree with you on this one. Tommy has consistently under achieved at Clemson.I think they needed to makea change.

I didn;t read all this thread but maybe Terry was applying this towards the Auburn situation too? They deserve more than one SEC Championship every 10 years or so for what is being paid to the coach and the type of program.

If Terry had written excuses for Tommy, he would have been labeled a hypocrite. This was not just asking Terry for his comment but his weekly article where he has to talk about these things every week. He can't give his brother a pass, that would be much worse in my book.

Terry was a guest on Harold Bugg's radio show (Florence, AL) during August. Tater Tot pretty much said that Clemson was loaded, and this was the year for Tommy to "put up or shut up". According to Terry, his brother's excuses had run out, and if he couldn't win the league this season, he should be replaced. Terry mentioned that he and Tommy had talked frequently about the season, and I got the impression that Tommy agreed with the presumption that if he didn't get it done this year, he expected to be gone.
