I think Bama would have beaten them today. Michigan is going to have a tough time against Washington

to be fair they did that all year long. my prediction for the title is they will get up by 3 scores but somehow only win by 1 score
That was one weird ending. If you have Penix take a knee (or if you’re trying to eat up few more seconds, have run laterally to the LOS and slide down) you punt the ball to Texas with less than 20 seconds on the clock. Instead you run Johnson, he gets injured stopping the clock with 50 seconds.
So at best, after the punt and the bone head interference call, Texas has 15 seconds at their own 30 yd line.
DeBoer would have had a Mario Cristabol presser to explain that decision if Texas scored on that last play.

i was interrupted twice during the last two minutes of the Texas game but it seem to me that Sark kicked a FG from the 3 on 4th and goal with less than 40 seconds left. If so that was a dumb call. Scoring from 3 on 4th and goal is more likely than recovering an onside kick and scoring a TD from midfield because another FG would now help.

Analytics…numbers are making sooo many choices now, even with extenuating circumstances…sometimes you have to go with your gut…or common sense.
