I can tell you this, with back to back road games to Arky and UGA, then the possible Clemson game, and LSU on the road, oh boy, it's going to be a tough one. I hope they revise the schedule and spread out the road games, I would like to see a gap in going to play Arky and UGA on the road.

Looking at the schedule next year I think it is possible they can suprise a few with the W/L record.

I think after the players have a "come to Jesus" off season, "SABAN STYLE" the team should me much more focused and disciplined.

IMHO they should beat:

Western KY
Tulane
Ole Miss
Miss St.
No. Illinois

Games that I personally think are winnable:

Arkansas (Minus D-Mac, Monk, both OT's, 75% of the secondary and possibly a new coach)

Kentucky (Minus Andre @ QB and the D was pretty bad all year)

Tennessee (Minus Ainge and 3 out of 4 off of its front 4 on defense)

Auburn (Where we will be coming off of a bye as well this time, no Brandon Cox and possibly a new HC).

LSU (Minus Flynn, Doucett (the O struggled when he was out), Jacob Hester, Dorsey 2 LB's and 75% of the secondary and not to mention the possibility of a new HC (DC at a minimum)

Clemson (Assuming the game is ever announced)

Games that will be very difficult:

UGA

Again, I realize Saban has major issues to work through and a lack of talent/depth. However, if he can get the team to focus every play there are 5 games on the schedule we should be favored and win.

I think it would not be un-realistic to win 2 or 3 of the remaining 7 to give the team 7 or 8 wins. Personally, I think Arkansas, Kentucky Auburn and Tennessee will be the best chance to get wins 6, 7, and 8.

Of course, a lot can happen over he next 9 months!

I would like to think that someone with speed rush can work their way into the outside/lb area, like Chavis Williams or A. Watkins. I think Fanney could see the field but did not look fast when he played. We need some one to be able to bounce outside with RB after the Man R.MClain forces it outside. I saw this a couple of times last night. Also, who takes over for Castille, although I thought he would have done more (the possible int to take a field goal away last night was big) but I would have never thought we would have had the play from K. Jackson like we have. The NT area will be covered better overall play inside as the year went on, and if we get Kerry Murphy that would be huge, he is huge. A good rush D end, possibly L.Davis or the likes, and a smart safety, possibly a true freshman or Woodall.

On the O, I can see a total change on the Line but with several we have coming back I think most can start and we will keep'em in place through the whole year. The O-Line needs this it is like a security blanket or something they need to feel good about who they have next to them, we have not had that in several years. RB is looking great, I think Goode and Griffin can help the power game out tremendously. Plus the RBs we have had had a good year, if they can keep it between their ears. I also like WR, yes we want have many returners with TD catches but it is like the under dog in a fight who wants to start at a playmakers position. I look for some that RS to play, McCoy, Stover, Alexander, and I hope at least two true freshman, fingers crossed.

QB, I really think the JPW with all the game time experience has a big lead, but we can possibly see two play until one makes it his. Like everyone one else I would like to see the QB getting in the face of others on the sidelines when the team is down and in the huddle.

This coaching staff has shown that they have an eye for young talent. With our monster recruiting class coming in, I wouldn't be surprised if we see a a lot of rsf (Maze,Griffin etc) and tf get a significant amount of playing time.

I honestly feel that this year was a "sophomore slump" for JP in his Junior year (his 2nd full season as a starter). He had to learn an entirely new offensive scheme while trying to rely on an offensive line that was being constantly shifted around (suspension.injury). I feel that he is going to rebound next year and finish strong.

What he said.

JPW wont be seeing the field next year if Star Jackson has something to say about it.

If we are hoping for Jackson to come in and run the offense we are in deep trouble. I think the fact the McElroy never saw the field this year is pretty telling. He would have to make leaps and bounds in order to win the starting job.
