These are our defensive backs. We could use an experienced 5* caliber Cornerback. One of the 5* freshmen might step up big. But still, experience would be huge. The same for a Safety. Need at least 1 more with 4* or higher caliber with experience.

Safety:
Devonta Smith, Jr
Malachi Moore, Sr
Brayson Hubbard, 3* So (Mr Football - Mississippi)
Tony Mitchell, 4* So
Rydarrius Morgan, 4* Fr
Peyton Woodard, 4* Fr
Dre Kirkpatrick Jr, 3* Fr
Prince Butler, Jr

Cornerback:
Domani Jackson, 5* Jr
Jahlil Hurley, 4* RFr
Jaylen Mbakwe, 5* Fr
Zavier Mincey, 5* Fr
Zabien Brown, 5* Fr
Alijah May, Sr
I believe Domani Jackson addresses your concern.

When you hear that Bama ran a 3 man front, technically that is true but you also saw them walk an OLB up. I don't think we will see a tremendous difference scheme-wise. I do hope it is more streamlined and simplified. Less thinking, more reacting.
4 or 5 man fronts were the norm for quite a few years.

you gonna have to wash that mouth out with something stronger than soap.

but seriously - not really. It's was Saban's D, but Gol*ing calling plays and groupings. Gol*ing's issue was he couldn't get the groupings and then then calls right for various situations.
And he was a horrible ILB coach.
