I apologize if this is the wrong place to post this, but does anyone know what Coach Bryant's drink of choice was? Beer or whiskey/bourban guy? Just out of curiousity.
Thanks and RTR.

Not sure which brand...but it was Scotch..Glenfiddich Scotch Whiskey. And if that weren't available, Johnny Walker Black Label.
when you get a definitive answer, are we gonna have a memoriam in your garage or mine?I apologize if this is the wrong place to post this, but does anyone know what Coach Bryant's drink of choice was? Beer or whiskey/bourban guy? Just out of curiousity.

You have to enjoy vidalia onions and buttermilk. He was DEFINITELY a Scotch drinker. Long story but I knew someone who would have a drink with him from time to time. Another odd factoid about Coach Bryant was that as "snack", he would sometimes eat a Vidalia onion like an apple and big glass of butter milk to go with it. Loved Coach Bryant but dear Lord, don't know how he ate/drank that. Ugh.

Y'all should have come up to the yard sale today and bought some of our junk!
Didn't he do a Chesterfield print ad?Alcohol, drink of choice...and Chesterfields.
Yeah, I always thought he was a vodka fan as well based on some things I've heard and read. Granted, I don't think he really discriminated, if you catch my drift.I have it from a player from one of the NC teams he drank Vodka. He never saw him take a drink in 4 years but thats his story and several other players. We had this discussion tailgating. So who really cares..... and why the heck did I even post this.
