The fact that the social "rules" of our society have reached a point where something like this can be "written"/published about one race but not dared to be written about any other race on the planet, and no one bats an eye, is amazing to say the least. I'm not an NBA fan, but I was channel surfing and (for whatever reason I don't know) stopped on an NBA show. I'm not sure if it was post-game or pre-game, but basically they were criticizing a player and as part of the criticism pointed out that the player "got beat" by a "white guy" and the entire panel busts out laughing. I've heard on ESPN's First Take Shannon Sharpe (and he's not the only one) talking about how it was an embarrassment if a white player got the best of him while covering him.
Could you imagine if black players were being talked about like that on nationally televised shows? The show wouldn't even make it through the next commercial break without people being yanked off the set. Broadcasters have been forced to make on-the-spot public apologies (and fired afterwards) when simply making a comment that could be construed as referring to someone's race (other than a white person). But bashing "whitey" has not only been accepted by our society but glorified. If we're going to do it, let's do it the "Dave Chappelle" and "Bill Burr" way. They spare no one; not one race gets spared. They light them all up, and everybody gets to sit back and laugh at everybody.
