The Freeze bus … keeps running over his QBs

I think if Deuce is starting next year Auburn is in serious trouble. Freeze’s leash is long but a third straight throwaway season will get the people that matter fired up.

I think regardless of who is starting next year Auburn is in serious trouble. Freeze’s phone directory of call girls is long but a third straight throwaway season will get the people that matter fired up.

FIFY

Come on man....No Coach would prostitute themselves for wins.............would they?????

He HAS TO win next season and looking at y'alls schedule over the next several weeks, if y'all end up 2-6 going into Vandy he'll have to win 9-10 games next season to keep his job. You're staring at a realistic 4-8 season right now.

Just using the logic I see barners using to argue that they're *this* close...

Apparently, they're both a QB away from being undefeated AND needing far more than a QB to make it worth really trying.

well that’s a bit of a straw man if you’re referring to me. I think with better QB play we’d likely be undefeated at *this* point in the season. That’s not unreasonable as every game has been at home and we were favored in all of them.

But the back end of the schedule was never going to be pretty. Both our main rivals, both very good teams, and both on the road. Quality Missouri and UK sides on the road. Only aTm and a rent a win at home.

I think budgeting is what kept us from going hard at a QB this past offseason. Sure we could have cracked open the piggy bank for Cam Ward or someone else, but we have other areas in serious need of attention right now too and only so much money to throw around.

I think Hugh made a decision between being ok this year or being good next year. Only time will tell if he made the right one.

And they're nine more tries of beating Arkansas nine straight times! They're almost on a roll!!!!

His seat will get rocket hot really quickly and he’ll enter season 4 as one of the most likely coaches to get fired.

Your own home board appears to be a year ahead of that schedule.

Hmmm. Wondering if the NIL funding will be affected by a 3 or 4 win season this year. I could see them pulling some of that NIL money and setting it aside for that buyout.

Last I heard, Gus and Harsin are currently getting checks.( Not sure if Chizik is fully paid off yet.)

I dunno. That dude doesn't seem to be what they thought he was when they hired him. I mean, instead of developing a game plan for the bowl game he was off doing something (not recruiting as it was a dead period if I remember correctly) while his assistants were left to do that.

Also, as I mentioned previously, if had a reputation as a QB developer, my top priority would be getting a game-changing qb to build my team around. The PTB would have whole-heartedly $upported that.

Something just doesn't add up here and it appears that the reverend is getting a LOT of mileage out of those two wins over Coach Saban...
