The Good- Mac Jones, Jerry Jeudy, Najee Harris, The OL (minus penalties), and the DB's.

The Bad- First half defense (linebackers and Defensive line) didn't set edge or play gaps. LB's seemed lost.

The Ugly- I'll go with the exclamation TD by Harris w' 31 seconds left. We normally take a knee there, but I think Harbaugh has rubbed Saban the wrong way. Also, Auburn losing to Minnesota!

The Good - Scoring TDs instead of FGs. Mac Jones and Najee played very well.
The Bad - Bama third down conversion until the final drive.
The Ugly - Defense giving up a first down when Michigan had 22 yards to go.

The Bad - Seemingly could not stop the run at all. Defense looked same ole same ole in the first half. It was a low quality bowl game. Ruggs getting hurt.

Good: Jerry Judy balled out. Beating Michigan is ALWAYS good. Defensive adjustment in the second half.

Bad: Defense in the first half ... first time I felt sick watching a game lol

Ugly: no real ugly for us ... I guess the penalties by the O line?

I didn't see that last TD as ugly. We ran it 3 times right up the middle with Najee. They knew he was getting it and couldn't stop him. I think it was a nod to Najee to thank him for all his work getting down there. Now, if we had thrown a pop pass on a play action, it might have been called "ugly"...

I am fine hearing that, but the first half defense was horrid. I mean, horrid. If UM had not totally abandoned the play calls that worked in the first half, the noise would have continued.

Golding has to get better. That is a straight fact.

Agree with big1tide the first half on defense was putrid! he deserved ragging from us! Im not so sure hes out of the doghouse yet jmo thats whats great about expressing opinions here this is a great board for that

Actually I think we are selling PG and defense short... I think the heavy run against the defense worked in first half because our alignment defensively, bad effort on defensive line not taking the right gaps. We lined up differently in second half and took the run away and caused them to pass to win... which SP isn’t built for... just my observation

For some reason it was the same old story in the 1st half...DE's getting pushed around and DL not dominating in any fashion. They dominated us on the edge... When we went to nickel our faster DB's started penetrating and then it all went downhill for UM's offense from there. The adjustment was good...but it should have happened sooner. Then, with all this we only gave up 1 TD in the entire game.

Gosh I loved this game more than I thought...going to be a long off season!
