2022 Top Football Recruits in Georgia (247sports.com)

I started this thread as a reminder regarding the myth that Kirby would build a fence around the state of Georgia once he became their HC, it continues to be just that, a myth. While Georgia recruits at a very high level and does good job of recruiting outside of the South from time to time to get the best possible players , he hasn't exactly locked up the state. Looking at their 22' class, only 7 players in Top 20 are from the state of Georgia!
Alabama, Texas AM and Tennessee did a very nice job raiding the talent they had for this cycle.
Alabama continues to get top players from the Peach state something the Tide were unable to do while Kirby was DC at the Capstone.

Honestly, I don't see this trend changing anytime soon as long as we have the GOAT .

If Florida becomes relevant again, they will also raid Georgia, as does Clemson…..

Once again, he's adopted the Saban method. He's very picky on whom he wants instate and cherry picks across the South and the country. (Maybe we should try that!!!!!)

Bottom line: The guy can really recruit. We win some battles. He wins others. We both get great players and have the two deepest rosters of pure talent in the country.

Yup.. Coach Saban is the absolute best recruiter in the history of the game for a reason..

When the NCAA tries too pass rules too slow him down on the recruiting trail or he's paired off recruiting against other elite recruiters in college football, never ever bet against Coach Saban, that's when he's at his best recruiting & will always bring Bama the best recruiting class in the nation every time..
