There you have it. Interesting to see which QB can separate themselves in the spring. Also to note, Jam Miller and Haynes would absolutely flourish in this offense.
I feel the same way.A lot of the quitters going to the TP will absolutely regret not coming/staying here. Most of these are offensive players and we're about to build an awesome offense. I hope they do well in life but I hope their playing days go down the toilet. I have nothing for them.
Let em be, when this offense gets potent next season you won’t even remember who those dudes areA lot of the quitters going to the TP will absolutely regret not coming/staying here. CKD started Penix as a freshman, I'm not certain Sayin won't be the guy next year.Once this offense gets rolling, with Sayin waiting in the wings to take over for 3 years, I'm sure we'll get some amazing talent at WR. Should be fun to watch.
Yeah, if the QB competition is close you go with the younger one. He'll be there longer.CKD started Penix as a freshman, I'm not certain Sayin won't be the guy next year.
I fully expect an open competition.CKD started Penix as a freshman, I'm not certain Sayin won't be the guy next year.
Just watching the breakdowns of the video posted of CKD's offense, he is going to have to learn how to make RPO rreads and not have them predetermined. There are a lot of moving parts in his offense. As one the guys in the video says, " if you're on defense you better know your reads" referring to how confusing the presnap alignments can be on the defense.Unless Milroe learns how to play QB, he won't be starting at QB next season.
I'd guess either Simpson or Sayin.
Milroe will have to look bad in Spring and fall camp for coach not to start him. I think he starts in September. Whether he holds that starting position, I don't know.Unless Milroe learns how to play QB, he won't be starting at QB next season.

The chances that he won't be the starter are far greater than those that he will...Milroe will have to look bad in Spring and fall camp for coach not to start him. I think he starts in September. Whether he holds that starting position, I don't know.
Naw (play-uh) that ain't how this will playout, imo. The now head man just took the second most stressful job in the country, second only to being president of the United States. He ain't got time to honor last year's starter and give him any longer leash than any other QB in the room. He has to put the player out there who best runs the offense NOW, not five games into the season.Milroe will have to look bad in Spring and fall camp for coach not to start him. If Saban were still here, absolutely. But we don't really know how CKD approaches this kind of situation.Milroe will have to look bad in Spring and fall camp for coach not to start him. I think he starts in September. Whether he holds that starting position, I don't know.
No way a new coach with a new offensive system goes with Milroe by default. But we shall see.Milroe will have to look bad in Spring and fall camp for coach not to start him. I think he starts in September. Whether he holds that starting position, I don't know.
Be there longer, + have much higher ceiling.Yeah, if the QB competition is close you go with the younger one. He'll be there longer.
