No, because Sylvester Croom wouldn't have had a 31 point lead. Let's remember, we beat a Division 1AA school 52-0...Mississippi State lost to a Division 1AA school, 9-7.
Coach Shula made it very clear before halftime that he was disappointed with a few aspects of the performance of the team up until that point. We were up 31-0, but 14 of those points were direct results of special teams play. I think he wanted to see the offense react to adjustments made at halftime, and to do that, the first teamers needed to be on the field.
Poo-poo happens. Brodie should have launched the ball into the fifth row and walked to the sidelines.

Actually, Sylvester Croom would not have taken him out at the half because he wasn't on the Alabama sideline to have that opportunity.

Is the second guessing going to continue until the second coming? Face it, Brodie Croyle is lost for the season. Marc Guillon is the starting quarterback. Mike Shula, not Sylvester Croom, is the head coach at Alabama. No amount of whining and complaining about Coach Shula's decision to leave Brodie in will change that. Get over it and support your team.

I agree with Shula's actions, Brody got hurt because his freakin knee is apparently bad. It was going to happen, its time to move on.

A friend of mine reminded me when we lost another starter and a total unknown kid named Gary Hollingsworth came on in relief, What seemed like a bad thing was actually a good thing. I'm not saying thats the case now, but we don't know the future. If we can run the ball and stop the run we can beat anybody, I believe Guillon and Pennington both have the ability to win.

I think were in good hands with Guillon. Just because he's not from Alabama, & his dad didn't play for the Bear. people seem to be bashing him.
I for one am glad he decided to transfer to Alabama because were in good shape with Marc.

Are you kidding me!! Why make a stupid comment like that. Brodie made a cut and his knee blew out.. He was not touched!! This was going to happen no matter what and some point in the season, now or later.. CMS wanted BC to have a good drive with the first team and then sit.. No reason to blame anyone, it happen and now we deal with it. BC could be blamed for the injury, why not throw the ball away or step out of bounds? Its football and people get hurt.. NO ONES FAULT!! I am glad that it happen when it did and not on the first drive of the Ark game.. CMS is a good coash and Bama will be just fine.. Maine beat Miss St this weekend.. Maine! Come on!
