According to Baseball America pre-season top 50, we are no. 43. Maybe we'll suprise some peope.

I'm hoping Wade LeBlanc has another great season and not a soph. slump. I really love Bama Baseball and hope we make it to Omaha this year.

WVUA 7 Sports related

I just hope this upcoming season the WVUA 7 Sports crew will get behind the baseball team and not put them down : :frown: like they did last year. All their attention went to Basketball and did not even mention Baseball at all. I am definately not happy the way the season went last year and I was very disappointed in the local Sports coverage for baseball.

Hope for the best in 2005! Beat Hawaii in 4 games.

I just wish..

That we still got the game over the internet for free. I really enjoyed listening to the games when I was going to sleep or just hanging around the house.

I wish college baseball used wooden bats. I could watch it then. Sorry, but that's just the traditionalist in me. I hate the ping. If I wanted to hear that I would go watch the girls' softball game.

College baseball has always been played with an aluminum bat. Not watching it because of that seems like a pretty sorry reason not to support college baseball to me....

Do you think it is a different game? Or does the bat have nothing to do with it?

Would you still like college football if it started using an arena bowl format for the field instead of the traditional one?

I have nothing against college baseball. I have great admiration for those athletes who are able to compete at that level. I just wish that it had kept one of the major items (a bat) the same. That's all.

If our hitting improves, the least I see us in making it to a regional. I think our pitching will still be top notch and if the hitting comes around, we should be all right.
