Got an e-mail from Tide Pride saying members with 147-229 points will get tickets if they ordered them.

Not really, many of us were willing to pay whatever and went ahead and booked flights and hotels and just got a really happy surprise this morning.

Good, I am glad to see you are going to the game but there are alot of people that are not going and are looking to make a profit from this game. Anyhow I am going and have had tickets in hand for awhile now. I am just trying to help out some friends of mine (also tidepride members) find some tickets. I guess my point is if alot of the tidepride members who were not intending on going in the first place would not place an order for tickets then alot of the folks who would like to attend (with low point totals) could go. Also the 50,000 tickets that went to sponsors, hollywood stars and VIPs and Pasadena residents did not help in the matter.

we just got our game ticket email yesterday and booked our trip through Travelocity. we are going to fly from memphis to LAS VEGAS and stay at the Mandalay bay from the 6th - 10th for $693 each (3 of us). It even includes the rental car for us to drive to the rose bowl.

WAHOO!! I got an email this evening announcing yet again an additional allotment of tickets were released and I'm getting the 2 I requested!!!

Now my trip is complete and can't wait for Jan. 6th to head to Pasadena for CHAMPIONSHIP #13!!

Watched MI pick up the Heisman and then found out we got tickets to Pasadena right afterwards! What a great night. I had made peace with the fact that we weren't going to get tickets. Now I am scrambling to make the rest of the last minute travel arrangements. Can't wait for Jan. 7th!!

My girlfriend and I had been hoping that her uncle would get his Tide Pride tickets, but he didn't have the 230 points required. I just got a phone call from her mom and she said that he got the tickets so now my girlfriend and I are going the game!

This has been overwhelming the past few weeks: beating Auburn; beating Florida and winning the SEC; clinching a spot for the national championship game in my home state at a stadium where I've watched a lot of USC Rose Bowls; Mark Ingram winning the Heisman; and now, tickets!!! It'll only get better when we're singing Rammer Jammer late at night on January 7th.

My aunt has 139 points and got an e-mail that her order will be filled for $275 each, but her e-mail didn't say anthing about points, it just said due to an additional allotment we will fill your order. I wonder what the cutoff is on these additinal tickets? I have 135 points but have not recieved an e-mail or anything. I was wanting to know how many points other people who have gotten the lastest e-mail have?

Just got a flight from Atlanta to Orange County for $680.00. It is a direct flight there and back. We have opted to leave Tuesday and return Friday midday.

Anyone looking for reasonable flight. Search ATL to SNA..

So far with our skymiles, for flight & rental car we are at $700.00.

I wonder where these extra tickets came from. The first Bama tickets were $200 now they are $275-- man that is a $150 increase for two tickets.

E-mail said they were hold overs from corporate sponsor tickets that are not being used, which then get released to the schools.
