and it is not just being woman .. i hate her voice ... would have loved to seen robin roberts when she was with ESPN sportcenter call game
 
I normally ignore the announcers...but these were so bad I had to turn down the volume. Did you know that JM reminds Gilmore of Michael Vick? Did you know that the MSU rb's nickname is "Woody" from Toy Story? Did you know that UA's offensive line is bigger than the NE Patriots? That's all they had...for 3+ hours...No homework, no pre-game day interviews to set themselves up...just a bunch of washed over mess...whatever that means.

It's hard to know which is worse. Someone like Gary Danielson who is often overly negative OR like last night nothing but wind up our skirts.

Ironically, Danielson did it with some of our best teams and last night was kinda sickening to hear knowing we are not a very good offense.
 
I like Mark Jones enough to wish he could get more of him. His play-by-play is accurate and on-time. Unlike Nessler, who is rapidly becoming the New Verne.

I like Gary Danielson. He is always accurate, even when he's critical. Sometimes I don't think Gilmore is even watching the same game. He called our defense "elite" in a game where our guys gave up two TD drives by looking almost clueless. We have a good defense but elite it ain't.

To be certain, I like GD too. I'd rather get criticism when we are good than praise when we need improvement.

I think all this stuff was decided to be talked about sometime earlier in the week. So they could put together a video package. A lot of this stuff is not original thought. It’s from a production meeting.

I’ve never liked Gilmore either. ESPN sure seems to have a collection of bad commentators. Gee, I wonder why they are losing money and have to fire so many people the last few years?
 
Have a hard time figuring out who Tide Fans like other than Herbstreit or Eli Gold. Almost everyone else gets killed here. Mark Jones is very solid and Gilmore is no dummy. Though clearly not an SEC expert, he knows football. Riddick is excellent
