The Bama Nation has endured alot the past few weeks with the destruction in our communities. Now the news that one of our players has passed away only adds to the despair and sadness. This news comes at a time when most of us are already in the dumps looking for anything to bring us some normalcy. How sad it is that someone so young with such great opportunities ahead of them will no longer enjoy the gift of life. I'm praying for the Douglas family. I pray the hard days ahead will be filled with the guidance of The Lord. I pray comfort will be forged from the memories left behind by a loving son who touched so many lives abroad and within the Bama nation.

Life is precious people. Everyone please be careful in everything you do!

I just wonder how much more devastation our team and fanbase must endure? This is so very, very sad. I pray our young players become inspired and dedicate 14 wins to our communities and the memory of Aaron Douglas. RIP Aaron

No disrespect, but this is a case where I'm actually more inclined to believe national reporters - it took place so far from Tuscaloosa that it takes power out of the hands of our local reporters and the AD.

So sad, in any event. God's lasting peace to his family and his friends.
