Wow - did not know that this happened to him in 2014:

Knight suffered a serious injury the following season against Baylor when he was partially paralyzed after a hit. Knight suffered what is known as transient quadraplegia following the hit and sat out the final three regular season games in 2014.

He's not leaving immediately. Stoops gave him his release. He is still thinking it over. Schools mentioned include Oregon and K-State.
