How long has it been since any team had two undefeated regular seasons in a row in the SEC? That's quite a feat in itself. Just something else to show the type program that is being built at Bama. Not only winning, but instilling the character, the emphis on academics, caring not only about the football player but his growth as a person. IT'S great to be a Bama fan. I am excited all the way down to my toes.

So far the only hardware is this SEC champ trophy.

I realize that we have more work to do. I am as anxious as anybody about beating the Longhorns and picking up the big trophy. My point is two undefeated SEC championships in a row, how long since it happened. We can't talk about the Longhorns 24/7 for a month.

As far as a I know it, the last team to do it in the SEC was Alabama in the early 1970s. The last time it was done in College Football was USC in 2004-05. Nebraska did it in 1994-95.

I think it was Bama (1973 & 1974).

Only problem... we lost the bowl game both years to Notre Dame! Heartbreakers, both.

I think we will fix that this year.

24 straight regular season wins... What is the NCAA record for most consecutive regular season wins?

I think it's Oklahoma, who won 45 straight regular season games during their record 47 game winning streak.
