Tyler Love who was supposedly an Alabama Fan growing up has slipped from a High to a Medium on Scout.com. So now we are even with everybody else? Can someone tell me what gives?:conf2: :conf3:

I think that's reading a little too much into it as others said. I think CNS eventually convinces him to come to Bama since it seems that he was a "Bama fan" growing up. Time will tell.

He's going to San Jose State .:p_cry:

Patience , fellow Tiders .:p

He may decide his chances are better at another school. The coaches may believe he's to much of a project and can do better than him.

Right now IM more worried about Coach Saban signing his contract.

I'm not sure CNS even has a contract to sign, yet. I think it still has not went before the board.

I don't see Tyler Love as a project and I don't think our coaching staff does either. He is consistently rated among the top 100 high school football players in the nation.:)

A 4star or 5 star project? That seems a little odd don't you think? If he were a project he would not be rated that high.:biggrin2:

We RS some OL from our last class who were 4*. OL needs more development than other positions making the transition from HS to college. Strength, weight, and technique are incredibly more important. There aren't many Andre Smith OL players in HS. Love does seem to be one of the best, but I wouldn't be surprised if we start RS all our linemen. I'd prefer it rather than playing a FR on the line. I haven't seen TL play, so I don't know how good he is. Obviously he is one of the best in the nation, so he might be prepared to play right away.

Not to pile on here, but a star in HS with a high recruiting analyst rating does not always equate to college success. There have been highly rated 4 star busts at Alabama before. Not that I think Tyler Love fits into that category. He may very well be ready to step in and play just like Andre Smith. From all that I have read I like Bama's chances in getting Tyler Love to sign.

It will be good when we are able to redshirt all OL recruits. My remarks about him deciding another place is for him is just msg board fodder. I have never spoke with him and know him not....as to him being a project, that is just a point of perspective that very few young guys are truly ready to play on the O line if your team is where it should be.

Bottom line...I think he plays ball for Bama.

If CNS met him at school and really stated that he needed to go ahead and commit so his commitment could influence others, I have real doubts that Love is going to Bama. A good season from Bama might changes things but at this point I don't see Love wearing crimson.

I wonder what his Uncle has to say about that one ? I'd almost wager my nads that he'll be wearing Crimson . Now , had CMS & CBC remained ....... :frown:
This is a once in a lifetime experience & opportunity for these guys . Patience .
