So its a problem of complacency after getting up in the game? This is how I know that 90% of the problem Saturday was effort related. Watch the offensive blocking on the first series and you'll see us (outside of one play) PHYSICALLY controlling the LOS all the way down the field. Dang gaps and holes everywhere for the backs to run through. Then, after the first series the effort left and the blocking left. But physically, they have the ability to control the LOS. You saw it the entire first drive.
What other conclusion is there to come to? Honestly, I don't really know. Are they quitters? Okay, so you got complacent on the drive after the first one. Then GET UNCOMPLACENT!!! It's only been one series, is it that hard to make an effort change? So its a problem of complacency after getting up in the game?
I don't know. I do know that if it was me, I'd be getting in my teammates faces and getting ticked that we let them get us. How you don't have a killer attitude out there I don't know. What other conclusion is there to come to? Honestly, I don't really know. Are they quitters? If they had wilted in the 4th quarter, or even the second half, I could buy conditioning (though I'd still be POd about it). But this nonsense started in the 1st quarter. Was it complacency - or poor conditioning?
