ESPN reporting Coach Urban Meyers Stepping Down

Just heard during the NC vs Pitt game, the announcers are saying CUM is stepping down but no word on where he is going or what he is doing.

Watching game and heard the same things....whoa...not cause the CG game I am sure, but maybe fore health reasons?

I wonder if this is related to his being hospitalized after the SEC championship game?

With him not taking the ND job, you wonder whats going on there. I think back to him spending the night in the hospital after the SEC championship. Lets hope its not health related.

I hope UF message boards have plenty of bandwidth. They are going to need it.

WOW!!! I CANT BELIEVE THIS! They lost D-cor and Meyer. Said he wants to pay more attention to his health and family.

When UM told his family this they reportedly said, "We're glad we're getting our dad back!" -ESPN

According to ESPN, Rece Davis just said it was for his health and family. Good luck to him and hope his health remains. Can't say I'm sorry to see him go but wish him the best.

Coaching dominos...at least two, maybe three tiers of changes due to this.

December 5th really was a bad day for that team. Hope they can rally and crush the Big East champ.

Saw that...must be fairly serious for him to step away suddenly. Either that or family problems. The wife may not be happy.

Now it really does make you wonder what happened with him in the hospital after the SECCG. I know it was for dehydration...but you never know if more serious things occurred or were identified.
