I think Trent was smart enough to know which offense he would really flourish in. Urban is a liar. Plain and simple. He will tell these kids anything and he is starting to be exposed. Trent mentioned that our staff told him when we go 5 wide they will leave him in as a receiver and get him open in space, that should be fun to watch. Bottom line is the only reason Urban "coveted" Trent so badly was to keep him away from Nick and Coach Mac.

The whole reason I brought this up is because it directly conflicts with statements Meyer made in the recruitment of Trent Richardson. He told Trent that he was going to change the offense to a more traditional pro-style to show Tebow could be an NFL QB.

It was known to be an outright lie both then and now.

I don't think UF will go back to being #2 or #3 in the East when Tebow leaves. Urban Meyer the liar still is a better coach than the others in the East (except maybe Spurrier at the right school). Florida will continue to have very good recruits and talent. If he leaves, his replacement will find a full cupboard like Miles did at LSU and their success will continue IMO.
