It was on college game night. Bilas got done talking bout bama then he goes but I really don't think they have any chance. He was all grinning like an idiot, and before he could finish "thats right baby, pack your bags calhoun your going to san antonio, bama go back to practicing football baby"
 
The espn crew sucks. They think Kentucky is the only good basketball team that comes out of the SEC. Look where UK is now. And you better know RECE DAVIS is loving it.

Hey why did 62 teams play this tourney, this morn on Sports Center, they wanted to know how could OK St. & UConn could beat Duke? GEEZ Why didn't they just have UConn vs Duke & UK vs Ok St. & that be the Final 4, from the get go??? Dicky V go crawl back in Coach K's butt & give everybody a break BABY!

These guys were saying this after our first round game against SIU. We had no chance against Stanford and then after beating the number 1 seed, on that very same College Gamenight Show, they already had Syracuse penciled in against UCONN. These guys are Big East and ACC homers and even if we were to win a national championship, they would still show us no respect.
 
Dick Vitale is an over the hill hack who uses a tired, old fashioned phrase for attention. He prefers to hear the sound of his own voice more than worry about the substance of what is coming out of it. When he disparages Bama, just consider the source. Remember, he was one of the "exspurts" who questioned them being in the tournament in the first place. And we all know that an expert is "ex" something that was, and "spurt" a fast drip!

If BAMA won it all, Bilas would say "No way they can repeat!" I can hear Dicky V already,"Stick with football baby, you'll never win another baby, stick with footbaaaalll, you are not duke, you are not uconn, you are not UK, you guys are not wearing Carolina blue baby, stay out basketball, play football baby!!!"

It was disgusting. More objecticve reporting might have noted that UConn has yet to play a single game in the tournament against an opponent that was rated in either the AP or Coaches' top 25 or that UConn lost to Syracuse recently by 11 or that Alabama had beaten a #1, #5 and #9 while UConn has beaten a #6, #7, and #14. But hey, our team either isn't affected or is inspired by what they say. RTR!
 
Let us all remember that Vital said that Syracuse would beat Bama because Bama is not a good outside shooting team. How out of touch with reality is that?
 
Like I've said before, it's like these jacko's think that if they keep picking against us, then if we eventually lose, they can say "I told you so". Kinda like the theory about nuts and blind squirrels...

UCONN played vandy tough in the 2nd half. The same vandy team who got run out of the gym by florida. Even worse vandy made them look good with freige shooting 4%
 
Vitale is a joke. Just ask the guys in your tourney pool that took his advice and his picks as they tear their brackets up.

Alabama was the best 3-point shooting team in the conference and he says we have no shooters to beat Syracuse.

If I recall correctly, on slection Sunday he was picking Kentucky to win it all. He changes his picks from round to round to make it look like he is the know-all in basketball...all the while hoping everyone else forgets his original teams so he'll keep credibility.

What a joke.
 
I was watching a session with Dick and Digger, Dick was stroking Digger's Ego, then things started to get a little warm when Digger was rubbing Dick the wrong way, and then all of a sudden Dick began spewing this dribble all over the television studio.....it was really gross!!

LOL.....lets see how many don't get this!
 
LA, I don't know where that remark about Rece came from, but be advised that he is a Bama grad and bleeds crimson. He's also a friend with whom I email or speak on a multi-daily basis during BB season. As he said today, with reference to Bilas, that he's not the type to confront Jay with "what were you thinking?", but he's waiting his chance.
 
He also said today that he didn't know how he was going to handle it, if we made the Final Four and he had to be on screen hosting the lady's tournament...
 
HSV-- Reading LA's post I got the impression he was saying he thought Rece was loving it because Bama is doing so well, being a Bama grad and all. Thats the impression I got anyway. I dont think he was cutting on Rece.

BTW... see if you can get him to shed his journalistic integrity and give us a big ol' ROLL TIDE on the air.
