It's always hard to lose a pet

but those guys who take care of them have such pride, I think it makes it harder. I knew some guys who were in the Barn club and took care of their Eagle, and they were very attached even after they graduated.

Close, but no cigar. The real story is much more frightening. You see, smokey was walking along, minding his own business, when he cam across this huge orange chair. It looked comfy, so smokey hopped on up and took a little nap. Unfortunately for smokey, this was no ordinary chair. It belonged to the sinister great pumpkin, who eats donuts like breath mints, devouring every crumb of food in his path. The great pumpkin can't see his own feet, in fact he can't see what's below eye level for a good eight feet. Smokey never had a chance. He was squashed like a stale twinkie under the weight of the great pumpkin, who never felt a thing.

Poor, poor smokey.

Smokie didn't ask for all that orange crap on him and he probably did have a wonderlic score higher than Marcus Vick whose score was reportedly worse than Vince Young.

I have a huskey/lab mix named Buddy who is approximately 16 years old. He is not doing well and I don't expect him to get through Spring.

I lost a great dog and friend to canine lymphoma. I have a special place in my heart for anyone who has to go through that and watch their friend wither away from cancer.... even if it is Smokey and Tennessee.
