Alabama senior quarterback Brodie Croyle has been named the Walter Camp National Offensive Player of the Week based on his efforts in Bama’s 31-3 win over Florida this weekend.
Croyle passed for 283 yards (14-of-17) and three touchdowns. Croyle, who set the school's career touchdown pass record (36) in the game, completed 14-of-17 passes and connected on scoring throws of 87, 65 and 15 yards against the SEC's top defensive unit. With the victory, Alabama improved to 5-0, 3-0 in the SEC. The Crimson Tide is 5-0 for the first time since 1996.
