Look at uniformity in the player's stances. That was always the thing about the Wishbone to me. The straight backs, low to the ground, and just the right body lean. We were so well coached in it.

The correct answer is Don Hutson. He was a tight end. Saying he was a wide receiver is pure ignorance; there were no wide receivers when he played. He played platoon ball - all 11 players playing both ways - and was among the nation's best at everything he did: blocking, running, catching, tackling, and punting.

He effectively made the passing game what it eventually became, having designed passing routes that are still used today.
