of their 5 victories over the past 10 years, 3 of them came when we having horrid seasons. Once against as a .500 team, and once when we had a winning record at 7-5. And keep in mind, this accounts for about 27% of every victory they have ever had against us.

We have always owned LSU. We own their stadium like we pay rent on it. We need them for nothing more than their SOS stats in the BCS and then they can go home.

I like your confidence in the numbers, but we still have to play the game, and they have a pretty good team. The pose a number of challenges to us mostly to our offense. I'm hoping we can nickel and dime them like UT did in the 2nd half with short passes. But they'll more than likely bring a lot of heat and play tight on our receivers bc of the perceived weakness in our O-line.

This year's Tide doesn't own this year's LSU. They haven't played against each other yet. They play each other this coming Saturday.

More numbers

I believe LSU has managed to disturb a few otherwise good seasons though.

In 86 we were 10-3 with an LSU loss.
In 88 we did it again--9-3 with an LSU loss.

Luckily, neither time was on an odd year.

Florida doesn't "own" us

I don't know if I would say that Florida "Owns" us. We are 21-12 all time against them and we now have a 3 game winning streak going. They did beat us in a number of the SECCGs in the 90s, but I beleive that those days are gone for now.
