People I know who are not Bama fans asked me all throughout the Saban era if I thought we could ever return to the Dubose/Fran/Price/Shula days after Saban's time was over. I said, emphatically, NO!! We had come WAY too far for that to ever happen. Not to mention, our circumstances back then were very unique in that we had been completely debilitated by probation and just didn't have the horses for YEARS. Comically, the auburn fans still can't seem to grasp why their 6 game streak against us ended and why they never got back to it, even though it's been explained to them time and again. I don't think we would ever (at least in this lifetime) end up back in something akin to the late 90's/early-mid 00's. But, if the discipline (or lack thereof) continues to be an issue, we could be looking at 9-3, 8-4, and occasional 7-5 type of seasons as the norm
