What about grayshirts?

I haven't heard of many teams doing what CMS did with grayshirts. We seem to have some very solid players that are willing to grayshirt (Vlachos, Crump, McGaskin). Would a new coach likely honor those grayshirts/ offer full scholly, or just say see-ya??? I personally hope the new coach sticks with the grayshirt idea b/c if you know there is a down year for talent in the coming year, you can have several kids count toward that class, as well as giving them extra time in the weight and film rooms.

It's usually customary for all new coaches honor all of the previous and/or existing offers . :redface:

all commits have been told they will be honored......new coach will almost certainly call them asap to confirm.

Crump and Vlachos are solid to Bama. Haven't heard from McGaskin.

Thx for the info. That's good to hear that custom honors commitments, even if they might not fit the coach's "system."
