What is this content link crap?

I am all for click through advertising and the site making money, but that crap slowing the load times down noticably (and I have a 3 meg connection), and it is annoying to boot. I am running firefox and it is still doing it.

Interesting that many of the Conservative posters on the board say there are no "free lunches" but when something like this occurs they start complaining.

I guess then we would have to decide if the "Opportunity Cost" of having the content links and having to wait a few seconds is greater than moving to another site? It can be calculated!!

Thank you for removing it. It was horrid...but I think there may still be something wrong...I think one of your banners is being really slow to load. It does not do it every time but on ocassion it hangs and I have to click refresh to get the page to load.
