I used to consider LSU my second favorite team in the SEC. But coming from a LSU forum (Tigerforums.com) it has completely changed my mind. There is a hatred for Alabama like no other that I have read in quite a while, and I'm sure why it's there. I will have to pull for Florida this weekend, yeah I know, Meyer and Tebow again, I get tired of hearing that as well, but after reading that thread, wow. Any thoughts out there to change my mind.....or do I want to??? BTW...I know we all have our fanatical fans.

That just proves that LSU fans are the worst in the SEC.
They won't be crap next year.
They will lose all their players to the draft and the others will destroy them.
Stupid a tiger fans

yeah I read and post on that forum to, some see it for what it is just like some of us, this year won't be there year Nick Saban works his magic. The theres some that for some reason just like us believe we should be shooting for the moon because he stepped on board earlier this year.

I don't really care to much for the other Tigers as I do now for an SEC team to go back to the NC Game and LSU has the best shot at it right now. I was until not to dang recently one of those I don't care about the SEC all that much guys after what happened, but in turning a new corner and with alot of those that were involved fading into history, I'm coming around.

I'd much rather see and SEC team there than a Big East, ACC or the like in the Game. If Florida goes out and does beat LSU it could be the end of that hope.

I've never really had a second favorite SEC team really just anyone who may have a shot and anyones who is playing Auburn.

I'll be going for LSU this weekend.

I wonder if Florida was counting its chickens and took Auburn lightly. Anyway, LSU is very talented and should win but this will also be LSU's biggest challenge this year.

The Barn's enemic offense put 20 points against LSU's defense, and everybody else that played them except W KY have put up that much or more. LSU's great defense will stop SuperTebow, and LSU's offense should rip FL's terrible defense. I don't think the game even be close. LSU wins big...

LSU will win big, I believe. Florida will not be able to run on them, and Tebow will not have time to throw. This doesn't bode well.

Offensively I look for Keiland Williams to have a breakout game. Flynn will have his normal steady game, and LSU will methodically put up points.

It will be 13-3 at the half. The final will be 27-13

Well, we know how good LSU is, but we don't really know about FL. They have been very inconsistent. I think that they lost to Auburn because they overlooked them, thinking that any team that could lose to Croom and FSU was a pushover.

I think that FL will be an angry team and will bring that intensity to the game; but I think that LSU's defense is strong enough to carry the day.

My first thought is that UF might do to LSU what AU did to UF. I just don't see that happening though. AU's win in the Swamp should be LSU's blueprint for victory, but UM may have a few tricks left in the bag. UF better bring their A game cause the Tigers know an impressive win (big score) will pad their first place lead. LSU 27 UF 17.

You would think the number one team in the country would have something better to look at but nope...they are still delusional.

Anyways I think LSU wins 24-13.

I dont know why but I have a feeling that UF may get the win this weekend. They will be playing with alot more tenacity then they did against the barn. LSU has started most of their games kind of slow out of the gate, and if UF can catch them off guard quick then they could pull it out.

Listen, I live down here in UF fan territory. Do you realize how many UF folk are also Dolphins fans. They hate us and never fail to say something nasty to me. I have to pull for LSU.

LSU is STILL my second favorite SEC team. I won't let a few bad fans on a message board ruin that for me. As someone else said, all teams have a contingent of bad fans. If we were to be judged by some of the fans on some of the other Bama boards, we wouldn't look so good either. Remember how some of us talked (and for some: still talk) about Texas A&M when Fran left? And A&M isn't even a conference foe, much less a divisional rival.

The posts on that LSU board speak more to the lack of decent site administration than they do to the overall fanbase. The LSU fans I've known in person were all good people. One of the best friends I've ever had is a rabid LSU fan, and he'd give me the shirt off his back, even if it was his only shirt, and an LSU jersey at that.

Anyway, LSU 30, UF 13

Like i said before i just don't get how a group of people can be so ungrateful to coach saban. they act like he spit on the ground at death valley or something. Say coach saban chooses to leave Alabama after winning them a national title do you really think i would be upset about him leaving after he won alabama there 13th national title??? NO!! i would be grateful to coach saban for adding to alabamas tradition. why are Lsu fans so angry. there the #1 team in the country, and yet they act like they have been put on probation or something.

Yeah, one of my staff in the Boca office is a FL grad and a Dolphins fan. He now officially hates Bama...

We have key injuries. QB has high anke sprain that limits his moblilty, and this was a big part of his game, it also affects his accuarcy, can't set his feet. Lost DL Charles Alexander for the year, WR Early Doucet is doubtfull at best, if he plays it'll be at less than 100%. WR Brandon Lafell, who had steped up in Doucet's absence, has a leg problem and is hampered.

If the young'uns can step up, we'll win. But Fla's back is definitly against the wall, they'll play with desperation, they can't afford another loss.

It's in Tiger Stadium though, so I still think:

What if he went to Auburn?

I'll try to explain it. CNS was much beloved at LSU. We bought into everything he said. He had a vision, to upgrade facilites, add a Academic Center, pay his assistants top money, and continue locking down the state in recruiting, something begun by Dinardo.

The university delivered on the funds and CNS delivered big time, 2 SECC, and a NC. We always knew he coveted an NFL HC job, so when he left, most wished him well and pulled for him in the NFL. When he came back, some fans had jilted lover syndrome, the coach we loved was now at a rival school that we played every year was more than some could stand.

Adding to some was the fact that he announced as the Bama coach the day LSU played in the Sugar Bowl, introduced at the Bama/LSU BB game, and the comments atributed by him seeming to take credit for LSU's successes, and his off the record comments, not the Coon statement (La. folks take no offense to that) but his seeming uncaring attitude that the fan base was upset, inflamed some even more.

Personally, I'm a NS fan. I think ya'll landed one of the best coaches in the country. BUt I'm an LSU man to the bone.I pull for ya'll every game but one all the time (unless losing would help LSU win the conference) But do I want to beat ya'll and him when we play? Yes, Do I want to remind him what he left? Yup.

Hope that explains and hope I didn't ruffle any feathers.
